The storm-weary central and southern U.S. is facing another bout of severe weather through Tuesday, which could produce multiple tornadoes, wind damage and large hail.

A dangerous tornado threat unfolded Monday, as severe storms targeted major cities like Tulsa, Wichita, Kansas City, Omaha, Little Rock and Dallas, bringing damaging winds, large hail and multiple apparent tornadoes.

The damage and destruction left behind after a powerful tornado touched down in Laurel, Kentucky is devastating. The tornado ripped through Friday evening and killed at least 17 people, completely destroying homes and businesses in its path. As far as the eye can see, there is nothing but debris.
