* An upper level low west of the state will continue to destabilize the airmass over the islands through Saturday night. The moist southeast flow over the islands is responsible for many of the showers across the region. While Niihau... Kauai and Oahu will continue to receive the bulk of the moisture overnight through Saturday... showers and thunderstorms that do develop over the remainder of the state will also have the potential of being heavy... which could cause flooding issues statewide.
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. When it occurs... flash flooding kills many people every year.
