Isolated showers and thunderstorms are developing north of a line from Sherman to Bowie. Light to moderate rain will occur with this activity as it moves northeast at 20 mph. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible along the Red River through the afternoon hours. Otherwise...another hot afternoon with temperatures in the upper 90s and over 100 degrees is occurring in North Texas. Even though breezy southwest winds are providing some relief...heat indices this afternoon may still reach 104 to 107 degrees in some locations. Residents engaged in outdoor activities are urged to exercise caution this afternoon and evening.
