Emily has officially dissipated as of the 5PM NHC update. Emily gave a good battle the last few days but the combination of dry air, shear and land did her in today. I believe Emily still has an outside chance of coming back near the Bahamas in about 24 hours. I put those chances at about 25%. If she does come back I only expect her to strengthen back up to a Tropical Storm and at the most she could ruin some weekend plans near the South Florida coast with some rain and wind.
