A high surf advisory remains in effect from noon today to 6 PM PST Saturday. Breakers of 8 to 12 feet with local sets to 14 feet will be common across west and northwest facing beaches of the central coast. Surf will diminish some by Saturday morning with surf 7 to 10 feet with local sets to 12 feet possible. There also will be a high threat of rip current activity. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A high surf advisory means that high surf will affect beaches in the advisory area... producing rip currents and localized beach erosion. Trm |
