This is one of the classic areas of the sierras. Arrow peak stands alone in a remote area surrounded by miles of valleys and lower peaks. To climb the mountain, a round trip distance of 39 miles and 10,500ft+ elevation gain is required. The views from the top are probably somewhere in my top 5 views in the sierras.
