Issued: 12:29 MST Jan. 23, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 5 am MST Tuesday
above 6000 feet...

* timing... expect light to moderate snow showers through Tuesday
morning. Periods of heavier snow are most likely this evening
and overnight.

* General event total snow accumulations... 5 to 10 inches for
areas above 6000 feet elevation. Higher amounts possible along
southwest facing slopes of the White Mountains... as well as
areas above 9000 feet. See details below or consult point

* Additional snowfall from noon MST today until 5 am MST
Tuesday...

         alpine 4 to 6 inches Pinetop-lkside 4 to 8 inches
       Show Low 2 to 4 inches

* winds... gusty winds are expected throughout the event... with the
strongest winds through Monday afternoon. Sustained winds 20 to
30 mph with gusts 35 to 45 will severely reduce visibilities in
blowing and drifting snow at times.
